Peer Advice Services UK (PAS UK) provides practical peer support, advocacy and guidance for people rebuilding life after injury, illness or major change.
We help serving personnel, veterans, disabled people and families regain control, confidence and independence when life changes in an instant.
PAS UK is a disability-led charity built on lived experience.
We know that after a serious injury, sudden illness or major life change, it can be hard to know where to start. People are often left dealing with practical problems, emotional strain and systems that feel difficult to navigate.
Our role is to help people make sense of what comes next and move forward with the right support around them.
We support people across the UK, including:
serving personnel
veterans
disabled people
people adjusting to life after injury or illness
family members and carers
We also work alongside professionals, healthcare teams and partner organisations where joined-up support makes a difference.
Our support is practical, personal and shaped around the individual.
We help people with:
peer support and lived-experience guidance
advocacy and practical advice
mental health support
disability-related challenges
PIP and benefits support
confidence, independence and next steps after injury or illness
No two situations are the same. That is why we start with the person, not a process.
A life-changing injury affects far more than health alone.
It can affect confidence, identity, relationships, housing, work, finances and day-to-day independence. PAS UK takes a whole-person view, helping people deal with the reality of moving forward, not just one part of the problem.
For people searching for support for life changing injury, that often means having someone who understands both the practical and emotional impact of what has happened.
